Renewable Recycling, Inc. Launches Sustainable Sandbag for Flood Protection and Zero Waste Reporting

[Long Island, NY] — Renewable Recycling, Inc., under its DBA All-Island Sandbag Company, proudly announces the launch of The Sustainable Sandbag, a revolutionary product designed for flood prevention with a sustainable edge.

Made with 40% recycled textiles and 60% sand, the Sustainable Sandbag is engineered to perform while contributing to landfill diversion and Zero Waste initiatives. Its durable shell is built to withstand over 4,000 hours of UV exposure, making it a long-lasting, eco-conscious solution for emergency preparedness, construction sites, and municipal infrastructure.

“The Sustainable Sandbag not only stands up against any competing product currently available,” said Christine Kiourtsis, President of Renewable Recycling, Inc., “but being able to offer tonnage diversion reporting for Zero Waste initiatives is a true win for a Circular Economy. We are very excited to launch this product for US distribution.”

Each sandbag order includes Landfill Tonnage Diversion totals, which can be used in corporate Sustainability Reporting. The more sandbags ordered, the greater the impact in reducing textile waste and supporting environmentally responsible practices.

The Sustainable Sandbag is available now through Renewable Recycling, Inc.'s High Performance Sustainability Products section. Organizations and agencies interested in ordering or learning more about specifications are encouraged to fill out the interest form on the company’s website.
