Sharetown
Sharetown, Inc. is an innovative company that has found its niche in the bedding & furniture markets. They offer name brand companies an incentive to have local reps collect bedding & furniture items from customers seeking an exchange/refund. Through this program, there are a percentage of items, (in RRI’s case, bedding), that are no longer in new condition. Instead of these items being disposed of, RRI has created a wildly successful recycling program, where up to 95% of compromised bedding items are processed.
In addition, Sharetown participates in donation programs where a portion of the items collected are donated to local outreach centers as well as Habitat For Humanity locations.
RRI has proven its direct-to-consumer services and recycling methodologies to Sharetown and their high profile clients for over 6 years. To date, RRI has diverted several thousand tons of materials from landfills for Sharetown, proving they are a force to be recognized toward Zero Waste Initiatives!

Reworld™
Reworld™ is an award-winning Thermomechanical Treatment Facility. It’s closest plant to RRI, in Westbury, NY serves the Town of Hempstead and Long Island with reliable and sustainable waste management. Every year, this facility alone, processes more than 1,010,000 tons of waste that would otherwise have ended up in landfills.
In addition to keeping waste out of landfills, Reworld™ is committed to ensuring safe operations and minimizing environmental impacts.
As RRI constantly strives to exceed expectations, forming a strategic partnership with Reworld™ has boosted our recycling rate from up to 90% to an earth loving 98.5% rate.
With Reworld’s process, it too boasts a 90% process, with a 10% residual of non-toxic ash that is landfilled. RRI delivers its 10% waste or ‘fluff’ as we refer to it, which are residual materials from our recycling process. ReWorld™ processes our ‘fluff’ and reduces it down to a mere ash residual, instead of the volume & weight of the original matter, which would take up space in landfills.
