Intro and Specification information

Renewable Recycling Inc. (RRI) | Blown In Insulation Product ‘Eco FiberTek’

The blown in insulation market in the USA alone, is currently a 10.3 billion dollar business, with an average of 7 percent growth year over year. The majority of blown in insulation products currently manufactured and used in this country consist of rockwool, cellulose based and fiberglass.

Each product on the market has its positives and negatives. The rating factors for each are based upon several factors; 1) the environment in which the product is being utilized, 2) the carbon output during the manufacturing process and 3) toxicity levels during the install process.

RRI has concepted, manufactured, and tested its own proprietary product comprised of a balanced mix of recycled textile materials it processes within its NYS DEC-registered facility.  All materials utilized for its product are processed in a controlled environment and consist of shredded PU foam, mixed shredded carpet materials, recycled clothing & mixed cellulose textiles.

The materials processed for blown in insulation can be found in abundance throughout the country. Aside from innovative manufacturers finding use for these materials, they are often times landfilled. The main factors for landfilling of these perfectly useful materials are 1) limited outlets in secondary use markets and 2)lack of available resources available to educate buyers to purchase reuse materials.

In addition to its processed textiles, RRI has perfected a natural fire retardant and pest control additive that acts as a buffer &protectant. This trade secret additive is the unique identifier that makes RRI’s product so appealing, not only in quality but for safety.

RRI’s Eco FiberTek product was tested at a Nationally recognized testing facility. The results were quite favorable, in comparison to similar product materials currently available.
